The charming village of Verfeil sur Seye is 500 metres away. It has a bakery/general store, tennis court, post office. (Seye means a ‘brook with trout’).

The village of Varen (5 kms away) has a Doctor and excellent pharmacy along with one of the best boulangeries in the area.
